HEADSTART MID - TERM EVENT
HEADSTART project organised its Mid-Term Event on 22 October 2020, between 15:00h-18:00h CET. The event was virtual, due to COVID pandemic restrictions. All participants were able to learn about the results of the research efforts during the first 18 months of work, as well as to have an overview of the planned activities for the next year and a half.
What HEADSTART is
The HEADSTART (Harmonised European Solutions for Testing Automated Road Transport) project is an EU funded project which started on the 1st of January of 2019 and will last for 3 years. The project consisted of 17 partners and aims to define testing and validation procedures of Connected and Automated Driving functions including key technologies such as communications, cyber-security, and positioning. The tests will be in both simulation and real-world fields to validate safety and security performance according to the key users’ needs.
